What does that captain think, trying to shirk duty and then bribing a Jedi knight? We are at war with the Empire and men like him can only cost us more lives!
Anyway, time to finally catch up with that stinking bastard Angral and finally vaporize him. I really look forward to the look on his face when I slice him open.

Subject: News from Uphrades

I would have sent this earlier, but we just now got communications back up; Uphrades is still suffering the effects of Darth Angral's superweapon. It's going to take some time before we can leave the surface, but we've stabilized the situation.
Turns out we were right--there were survivors on Uphrades! They were in rough shape, but most of them are going to make it thanks to the medical supplies on our ship. If you hadn't stepped in with Captain Dal, we might never have touched down to help; hundreds of people owe you their lives.

Angral is dead! I feel like celebrating and instead have to go meet the Jedi Council for some of their boring talk. I hope they won't keep me for long, I have an Empire to fight.
About Kira, was that creepy voice really the Emperor? I never thought being a "child of the Emperor" meant anything more than another fancy title the Sith love so much, but I'm definitely not going to tell the Council. For one, they would ask questions like why we kept the whole thing secret until now, questions I really don't want to answer. And they would at the very best detain us for much longer than we can afford. I have an Empire to fight and if Kira won, this thing is under control.
Also, I wonder if there is any way to use this link against the Emperor? Spy on him or something? I'm quite sure the Jedi council would forbid such a thing without a second thought, they are boring like that, but what they don't know can't hurt them. I must ask Kira...
